Host of Sparrows joined with Main Street Station to ring in some holiday cheer at the newly-renovated Train Shed during the city’s Grand Illumination!!

Host of Sparrows was out at Henricus Historical Park today for their annual Hops in the Park event! Good thing we had good company–it was CHILLY!!!

For our last Farmer’s Market of the season, we set up and flew at Forest Hill on a warm October morning!

Over Labor Day, Host of Sparrows went up into the mountains for a rainy weekend (until sunny Sunday!) to teach and perform at Floyd Yoga Jam!  

Host of Sparrows was back out at the Forest Hill Farmer’s Market in the heat of August!

The Sparrows came out on a VERY muggy and warm July morning to celebrate Fourth of July weekend a few days early!

This past weekend, Host of Sparrows took to the air with the absolutely amazing kids (and teachers and artists) working on SPARC LiveArt’s Dream! After spending several months working with our wonderful class, we were able to present the results of all their hard work and dedication. We can’t wait to see you all again next year!

As of today, Host of Sparrows has a new nest!

Although we’ve had many good years at Dogtown Dance Theatre in Manchester, it was time to feather a newer, bigger nest–so that we can offer more classes!

The first Saturday in May the Sparrows headed out to Forest Hill park to fly among the trees! Come and see us every first Saturday from July to October!

Despite the rain, Host of Sparrows was out in force with a student demo at the Manchester RVA EarthDay Festival–inside ArtWorks!

Host of Sparrows brought our Harlequins to the VCU Intercultural Festival outside this spring!

Host of Sparrows sent some acrobats and burlesque dancers to the Jazz Age Preservation Ball’s Tutmania!

Sammy the Sparrow headed over to the Saint Christopher’s School Mardi Gras silent auction to have a little fun helping out with King Cake and high bidding for a great cause!
